About Me

I currently have over 6 years of application based aeronautical engineering experience. I received my undergrad in aerospace engineering and my masters in aeronautical engineering with a focus in aero elasticity and aerodynamics. My work experience includes work in wind tunnel facilities, gas-gun dynamics and UAS operations and design.

I created this website to provide intuitive engineering tutorials in the subjects related to aerodynamics, CFD, Newtonian mechanics, orbital mechanics, statistics, general engineering and some day-to-day problem one may experience. Going through my career I found it very frustrating when I could not find well explained topics that applied to my education, job or daily personal tasks. There are many tutorials, books and research papers out there however, many provide very top level non-applicable examples which students and beginning engineers have a hard time understanding. My aim is to provide intuitive application examples with theory to give a solid foundation for those aspiring engineers or mid level engineers that need a push in the right direction.

A slight side note: I may publish examples on how to fix cars, house hold items, and other miscellaneous tasks that I think could save other people time, money and efforts. However, I believe a good engineer should be able to research and solve most everyday problem regardless of specialty. This perhaps makes is where we learn the most and can go back and apply lessons learned to our profession.
